Today I would like to rant about Swagbucks.

I have been using their site for almost 2 years. I have cashed in swagbucks for amazon.ca gift cards for $330 worth of merchandise, all at no cost other than my time. My latest swag snag was a Bose Soundlink Mini II wireless speaker!!!

Swagbucks are easy to earn, but it takes awhile to accumulate them. 1 swagbuck = 1 cent (in most cases, sometimes gift cards are discounted, for instance the amazon.ca $25 gift card is currently on for 2200 swagbucks).

I was initially only trying to earn what I could here and there, rarely even hitting my daily goal of 30 swagbucks (more about daily goals to follow). I've recently ramped up my efforts, and have found ways to earn throughout the day. I can typically make 80-100 swagbucks a day, earning at least another 8 swagbucks bonus for hitting my daily goal.

The daily goal is an interesting way to make more swagbucks. Swagbucks sets the daily goal, and it's based on your usage. They reward you for earning my swagbucks by using their site more. If you keep hitting you daily goal, they reward you for your winning streaks. Swagbuck bonuses are earned for weekly and monthly consecutive winning streaks, and are paid out at month end.

My efforts usually net me $25-$30 a month, but I've heard others brag they can earn $80 a month (they are in the US). I mainly watch videos to accumulate swagbucks, but you can also get swagbucks for completing surveys. Being Canadian, I've found that I almost always do not qualify for surveys, so I don't bother, but they may be rewarding for you.
